Ocean Fun Pack

This craft pack is a great way to introduce the study of waves, marine species, coral reefs, tropical fish, starfish, crabs, seashells, and fish scales.

The pack also includes an "Educational Opportunities" Sheet with facts and extra activity ideas to extend the learning even more.

The Ocean Fun Pack includes the following crafts:

• Button Fish :      

          Create an cool fish hanging by gluing multicolored buttons to a foam fish base.

• Starfish:               

          Craft a model of a starfish using a styrofoam base and sculpting compound.

• Ocean Drum:        

          Listen to the sound of the waves after you create this neat project.

          Place beans inside the drum, then decorate with stickers and paints.

• Sea Life Sand Art: 

           Peel away one section at a time to add brightly colored sand to the

           sea life picture until you have a colorful sand  masterpiece.

• Coral Reef Suncatcher: 

          Paint the suncatcher scene with vibrant colors, then hang your underwater

          scene in the window.

• Ocean Mobile:       

          Use markers and google eyes to decorate 8 ocean animals to hang

          from the octopus, then hang in your room and watch the fish “swim” around.

• Seashell Crab:        

          Create an adorable little crab out of a seashell, modeling compound, and chenille

          stems.  Add paint, google eyes, and you have a fun ocean friend.

• Tropical Fish Pouch: 

          Use the plastic needle to lace together a cool fish pouch to wear around your neck.

          Decorate it with google eyes, foam pieces,  and colorful beads for the lanyard.

• Seashell Hanging :           

          Create a seashell hanging using plaster of paris, sand, and real seashells.

• Tropical Aquarium Hanging:
  Glue foam fish, glittery sand, real seashells, and chenille “seaweed” to create a beautiful aquarium scene.
